Hip-hop giant Kanye West has been unveiled as the second headliner of Glastonbury Festival this June.

Joining Friday night bill-toppers Foo Fighters, Kanye will bring his arsenal of anthems to The Pyramid Stage on Saturday 27th June.

It will be Kanye’s first appearance at Worthy Farm and he’s the first hip-hop star to headline since Jay-Z’s triumphant appearance back in 2008.

Glastonbury organiser Emily Eavis tweeted last night: “We are thrilled to let you know we have the one and only Kanye West headlining Saturday night on the Pyramid stage!”

With the Sunday headliner yet to be revealed, only one other act has been confirmed for Glasto 2015 – soul legend Lionel Richie on the prestigious Sunday afternoon slot.

A very limited number of Glastonbury re-sale tickets are being released soon, however you must have previously registered to be in with a chance of getting them.

Last year’s Glastonbury was headlined by Arcade Fire, Metallica and Kasabian and also boasted performances from the likes of Lily Allen, Dolly Parton, Lana Del Rey and Imagine Dragons across the weekend.
