Dancing On Ice's Jason Gardiner looks completely unrecognisable for his new role

He's known for his harsh opinions on skating show Dancing On Ice, but Jason Gardiner left viewers of Loose Women in shock today as he appeared on the show as his new character Sylvia St Croix.
The 46-year-old joined the panel as he promoted the brand new musical he's in, leaving viewers of the show speechless at his jaw dropping appearance. Dressed up as a women with his hair and make-up applied to perfection, Jason looked unrecognisable to his usual self.
Dressing as his character Sylvia St Croix from the musical Ruthless, Jason wore a royal blue dress with a ginger wig and bright red lipstick.
After the panel revealed it was in fact Jason behind the alter ego, viewers of Loose Women took to Twitter to express their shock.
Later on in the show, Jason re-appeared wearing his own clothes, but revealed he didn't have time to take the make-up off!
Speaking to the panel about his new role on the West End, Jason said, "When I was offered this part, it was too delicious to say no to." He also admitted although he feels more powerful dressed as Sylvia, he doesn't know what it's like to be a woman.
He added, "Do I know what it's like to be a woman? No, of course not. I don't have all the necessary equipment."
After his appearance on the show, Jason took to his Twitter account to thank the Loose Women team. He wrote, 'Massive thanks to the entire @loosewomen ladies and team for making Sylvia St Croix from @RuthlessMusical feel so welcome! She can't wait for you to come see the show! @ArtsTheatreLDN until June 23rd'. sic
Jason is playing the role of Sylvia St Croix in the musical Ruthless at the Arts Theatre London until 23rd June 2018.
