Hugh Jackman Treated For Skin Cancer For Third Time
He has another basal cell carcinoma removed
X-Men actor Hugh Jackman has been treated for skin cancer for a third time.
Hugh, 46, was photographed with a small bandage on his nose and his representatives confirmed to E! News that it was from an operation to remove his third basal cell carcinoma (BCC).
His spokesperson also confirmed that Hugh was “all good” now.
Accounting for around 75% of skin cancer diagnoses, BCC is a slow growing type of cancer directly linked to sun exposure. Highly treatable, the cancer rarely kills.
In a nod to his operation, Hugh shared the single artwork to Baz Luhrman's 1998 song 'Everybody's Free (To Wear Sunscreen)'.
Hugh has his first basal cell carcinoma removed in November 2013 and had another one treated in May this year.

He said in May: "So just to be clear, it is skin cancer. It's a basal cell carcinoma, which of all the skin cancers, is the most minor."
Since his operations, Hugh has repeatedly urged people to wear sunscreen to prevent skin cancer.
It was his wife, Deborra-Lee Furness, who first convinced Hugh to go and get the mark on his nose checked out.
Hugh told Fox News: "I'm realistic about the future and it's more than likely that I'll have at least one more but probably many more, which is not uncommon for an Aussie particularly from English stock growing up in Australia where I don't remember ever being told to put sunscreen on.
"But the beauty of this is it's all preventable, it's just about getting proper check-ups. I can be typical man, a little lazy, I couldn't be bothered and now I'm not lazy at all."
