Emmerdale's Adam Thomas reveals burglary ordeal

Emmerdale actor Adam Thomas has revealed he had his car stolen after burglars made their way into his house whilst he was sleeping on Tuesday night.
Taking to Twitter, the actor told his fans his car keys were swiped from inside of his house. He wrote, 'Someone came into my house last while we were sleeping and robbed my car keys and took my car'. sic
Adam, who plays Adam Barton in the ITV soap, also updated his followers about his situation later in the day. He wrote, 'I got burgled this morning police still haven't turned up they just rang me now at 12am apologising they couldn't make it round 😂😂😂 #goodluck' sic
Fans and Adam's Emmerdale co-stars were quick to show their support for the star. Duncan Foster wrote, 'Hope you are okay pal. A car is just a car. As long as you and your family are okay that’s the main thing. Xx'.
With Amy Walsh, who plays the role of Tracy Metcalfe, writing, 'Nooooooooooo!!!!!”
Adam is yet to update his followers further on the situation.
The actor has starred in Emmerdale since 2009 but recently revealed he will be leaving the soap to focus on other things.
Last year Adam won over the public during his time on I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here. The 28-year-old ended up coming third on the popular show behind Joel Dommett and winner Scarlett Moffatt.
Before landing a role in Emmerdale, Adam played the role of Donte Charles in hit school drama Waterloo Road.
