Cheryl Fernandez-Versini To Perform On X Factor ‘Fright Night’
It’s a Halloween theme this weekend
It’s been confirmed that X Factor judge Cheryl Fernandez-Versini will perform live on the Halloween special this weekend.
Cheryl will be singing her brand new single ‘I Don’t Care’ during the results show on Sunday night (2nd November).
Multi-million selling soul icon John Legend will also be bringing his silky sounds to the live show.
It will be the third time Cheryl has performed on The X Factor after singing ‘Fight For This Love’ in 2009 and ‘Promise This’ the following year.
Her debut performance faced a backlash after some accused Cheryl of performing to a backing track.
Following the movie songs last weekend, this Saturday will see the remaining acts sing Halloween themed tracks as part of the Fright Night celebrations.
Mel B’s artist Jake Quickenden became the fifth act to be eliminated from The X Factor last night after going head-to-head in the sing off with Only The Young.
Cheryl, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh all voted to send Jake home.
According to the overnight ratings, Strictly Come Dancing beat The X Factor by two million viewers during Saturday’s show.
Not counting catch-up services, 9.4million viewers watched Strictly compared to the 7.4million who saw The X Factor.
