ABBA reunite and perform together for the first time in 30 years
The group celebrated their 50th anniversary
ABBA marked their 50th anniversary in style when they reunited to perform in Stockholm on Sunday night.
The group, which is made up of Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Faltskog, joined each other on stage to perform together for the first time in 30 years.
According to a local Swedish newspaper, ABBA celebrated the milestone at a low-key private party where they were joined on stage by local celebrities and actors. The group reportedly performed their song ‘Me and I’ from their hit 1980 album Super Trouper’.
The event marked 50 years since the group first formed and it’s the first time all four members have been spotted together since the opening of Mamma Mia! The Party back in January.
It has previously been reported the group turned down a massive $1 billion to take part in a reunion tour following their split back in 1982.
However, despite the big money deal, the group have stated they are not interested in touring again, claiming “No amount of money would change our minds.”
