Lincolnshire Police are appealing for information following an incident that led to a 20-year-old man receiving wounds that are consistent with being stabbed with a knife.

Emergency services were called to an address on Shelly Drive, Lincoln, just before 3.20am on Saturday 7 September. When they arrived, they saw the man had serious injuries; he was taken to hospital.

Police know that he was last seen around 5pm - 6pm on Friday 6 September, on Monks Road, near to the Tower estate riding a light blue Carrera bike. The man was wearing black tracksuits bottoms and a light grey long sleeved zip hoodie.

Throughout the day yesterday officers were completing their inquiries including extensive house to house inquiries and reviewing CCTV.

As the investigation progresses, they are appealing for anyone who saw the young man, described as white, average build, 5 foot 7 inches tall, short brown hair and clean shaven either riding a bike or walking between the Monks Road area and the St Giles estate, or anyone who witnessed an incident where they believe this man may have been involved.
