A young boy's been taken to hospital after he was bitten by a dog in Grantham.

The Staffordshire bull terrier cross was being walked in the Tamar court area on Saturday afternoon.

Police arrested a 14 year old boy and 32 year old man on suspicion of being in charge of a dog dangerously out of control causing injury.

They've since been bailed following interviews.

The victim's injuries aren't thought to be life threatening.

Police have seized the dog.

Investigations continue.
