Which Wilko shops are closing in Yorkshire?

Wilko has announced that it will close 15 of its stores in England and Wales.

The closures could affect more than 300 jobs.

It comes as the GMB Union calls for commercial rents overhaul, describing the announcement as ‘another nail in the high street’s coffin’.

Five stories in Yorkshire will close, and have now entered a 30-day consultation period and will shut over the next 12 months.

Wilko stores in Yorkshire that are closing:

• Scunthorpe, North Lincolnshire

• Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire

• Grantham, Lincoln

• Rotherham, South Yorkshire

• Shipley, West Yorkshire
