Yorkshire and Humber region has second highest rates of suicide in England and Wales
The figures come on World Suicide Prevention Day
Figures show the Yorkshire and the Humber region had the second highest rate of suicide in England and Wales.
Data from the Office for National Statistics shows the only area higher, was the North East.
It comes on World Suicide Prevention Day.
People across Lincolnshire and Newark are being urged to seek support if they’re struggling with their mental health.

Jo Kent is the from the Humber region's suicide Prevention Programme.
She says it's important we become more comfortable with speaking about mental health, particularly when we're worried about someone.
Jo told us "you're not going to cause any harm if you decide to have an open conversation."
"Even asking if someone is OK but making sure they really are alright".
"Often people who speak to us are relieved to talk to someone".
