Woman in her 30s dies in crash near Skegness

A woman has died following a crash near Skegness.

Emergency services were called to the A52 at Croft just after 8am yesterday morning (1 September).

It involved a grey Range Rover and a white tanker.

The driver of the Range Rover, a woman in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Her family have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

The tanker driver was seriously hurt and taken to hospital for treatment.

The road was closed for several hours between Warth Lane and the Boston side of the A52 while investigators examined the scene and cleared debris.

Officers are asking anyone who witnessed the crash or who may have dashcam footage to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit.
