A woman's been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two ten-year-old boys suffered stab wounds near Boston.

It follows a police stand off at a property in Friskney last night (29th November).

Forensic and specially trained officers remain at the scene on Fold Hill.

In the early hours of this morning Police forced entry into a house on the street after several hours of negotiations.

Once inside they discovered two ten-year-old boys that had been stabbed, they were then taken to hospital and are not thought to have life threatening injuries.

We spoke to neighbours about what they saw:

"The first thing that I saw was when I took my dog for a walk yesterday around 3pm. When I came back the road was cordoned off and they wouldn't let me through. eventually I managed to get back to my house - and was told to stay indoors - so I did."

Another neighbour said:

"My son came in about 4pm (yesterday) and there were Police cars out the front. He said they'd told him to get in and not come out, and I thought he was teasing me"

A 39-year-old woman has been arrested and remains in police custody.

Lincolnshire Police said there was no wider threat to residents during the incident.
