Woman and child assaulted in Lincolnshire altercation

A woman in her 20s and a young boy were allegedly assaulted outside the Lock Café in Boston on Thursday (28th August).

That's after a reported altercation between the woman and a man.

Lincolnshire Police are investigating the incident, and calling on any witnesses or people with information to contact them.

A Lincolnshire police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman and child were assaulted in Boston.

"A woman in her 20s was reported to have been in an altercation with a man in his 20s outside the Lock Café near the Sluice Bridge area.

"A young boy was present during the altercation, and he is alleged to have been assaulted during the altercation, which happened just after 1.30pm on Thursday 28th August.
