Two men charged with murder following incident in Grimsby

Update as of 27th April: Police have named the man who died following a stabbing in Grimsby at the weekend. 33 year old Stephen Fred Bellamy sustained fatal injuries on Rutland Street and later died in hospital. Previous information had stated the victim was 36.
Earlier today (27th April) Two men charged with murder have been remanded in custody - and are due to appear in court on Thursday.

Two men have been charged with murder following an incident in Grimsby. A 36 year old man was found with wounds to his head on Saturday around 6.40pm on Rutland Street after reportedly being stabbed.
Today he has today died from his injuries.
38 year old Luke Teague of Runswick Road, Grimsby and 39 year old Stephen Beach of Ashbourne Court, Scunthorpe have been charged with murder and are due to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court tomorrow (Tuesday 27 April)..
The man’s family are being supported by specially trained officers and have asked for their privacy at this time.
Detective Chief Inspector Christine Calvert said:
“Although this was an isolated incident between individuals known to each other, we appreciate such a tragic incident of this nature has caused shock to the local community.
“Our neighbourhood team continue to be on hand to speak to residents about any concerns they may have. We encourage you to speak with these officers.
“Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones at this incredibly difficult time.”
