Two men from Grimsby charged with murder

It follows an incident on Carnforth Crescent last Sunday

Two men from Grimsby have been charged with murder after reports a cyclist was struck by a car in the town.

The man has been named by his family as 35-year-old Reece Braithwaite. He suffered fatal injuries on Sunday (21st May) in a collision on Carnforth Crescent.

He later died in hospital.

22-year-old Liam Boydell from Boulevard Avenue, Grimsby and Thomas McGloughlin, aged 19, from Rutland Street also in Grimsby have been charged with murder.

They will appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court tomorrow.

A 20-year-old man arrested in connection with the incident has since been released under investigation while Police continue with their enquiries.
