Two arrested after fatal collision near Boston

Two people have been arrested after a collision on the A16 near Boston - after a man died.

Police say a white Vauxhall van is believed to have collided with a pedestrian.

A man, aged in his 40s and from Boston, died.

Officers were called to the A16 between High Ferry Lane and Willows Lane, Sibsey after a call at around 12.26 am on Sunday.

Two people – a woman, aged 39, and a man, aged 33 – have been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The section of road will be closed until at least mid-morning on Monday, 28 November while police continue investigations.
