The family of a man who died following a collision near Boston have paid tribute to him.

It happened on Hall Lane on Sunday 7 December.

28 year-old Ryan Featherstone died following the crash.

In a statement, Ryan's family said: "It’s hard to put into words our grief of losing Ryan.

"He was the type of guy who would go out of his way for the people he loved and cared about and everyone who met him instantly loved him.

"Ryan had a big personality; he could chat your ear off, lit up every room he walked into with a laugh and a joke and was well known for being a wind-up merchant. Then there was also a sensitive side to him.

"It’s often said that it’s the little things that mean most, and Ryan was definitely an advocate of this. He would find ways to cheer you up, like sending you a message or a funny video if you’d had a bad day or remembering to bring your favourite treat home; that was just the kind of person he was, always thinking of others.

"He was a fiercely loyal friend and was the one you’d turn to for support if you needed it. His generosity, not just with his things, but his time, is one of the things we’ll miss most about him.

"Ryan took everything in his stride, and we joked that, at times, he was so laidback that he was basically horizontal.

"His attitude towards life was ‘if you want it, go get it’. He believed you could and should do what made you happy and always encouraged others to chase their dreams.

"Although he’s gone, it brings us some comfort to know that he’s made such an impact and touched so many people’s lives and that the legacy he leaves behind is one of kindness, love and support.

"Ryan will forever be sorely missed by our family and all those who knew him."
