More evidence will be heard today in the case of a Boston man facing a trial of facts over the death of a nine year old girl.

Deividas Skebas was found unfit to enter a plea or stand trial earlier this year due to his mental health.

Yesterday the court heard how Lilia Valutyte died from a single stab wound to the chest which happened whilst she played on Fountain Lane in Boston on the 28th of July last year.

CCTV videos and images showing the lead up to the incident were shown to the jury.

Witnesses were also called to tell the court what they saw.

One recalled they heard an "anguished scream".

Deividas Skebas of Thorold Street Boston is charged with her murder but is facing a finding of the facts trial where a jury will determine whether the act was carried out by him.
