A homeowner from the Lincoln area is counting the cost of storm Jocelyn after a tree came down hitting three houses and a car, taking a powerline with it.

It happened last night on School Lane, North Hykeham as strong winds hit the region.

No one was hurt, and now a clean up operation is underway.

This homeowner spoke to us about what happened:

"I looked and saw that a big tree had gone, but I didn't know where it had gone. but I just panicked because my son lives next door.

"I'd come out and it had hit the neighbours (house), the pole which was there was right next to the driveway - but it was just wires and everything"

The tree hit this man's house, Dan tells what he heard:

"About 10pm last night we heard this almighty crash - we looked outside and saw the big giant tree coming through the window.

"The car looks like a write off as far as I can see - and then mainly the roofing guttering, and front wall are affected".

Elsewhere there's been debris on some roads in the region whilst a fallen tree has impacted rail services between Lincoln and Haborough.
