Police were called out to near the train barriers in High Street yesterday afternoon around 3.30pm to reports of a fight.

They say it's believed those involved are known to each other and that there is no wider threat to the public.

A 45-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and remains in custody.

Two other men, a 22-year-old man and a 34-year-old man who were arrested on the same charge have been released on bail with conditions.

They have been released on police bail with conditions not to enter Albion Yard or contact the victim.

Officers are trying to identify a fourth person believed to be involved.

Lincolnshire Police have said:

"On arrival, officers found a man in his 30s with a serious injury requiring medical attention and gave assistance until paramedics arrived. He was treated at the scene before being airlifted to hospital where he remains in a stable condition. His injuries are not believed to be life threatening."

Police have asked anyone who knows anything to get in touch with them. They have also said they will remain in the area for the next few days.
