A teenager has suffered a suspected cardiac arrest during an FA Youth game involving Boston United.

The player is believed to be from their opponents last night West Bridgford Colts in the FA Youth cup.

The game was abandoned as a result.

West Bridgford has confirmed that emergency services were called to their Regatta Way Ground after the player became "seriously unwell" .

He was taken to hospital.

Boston United's home game against Telford which was due to take place tomorrow has been postponed.
