Teenager dies following collision involving motorcycle and HGV at Leasingham

A 17-year-old has died following a collision involving a motorcycle and a HGV at Leasingham.

It happened on the A15 yesterday around 5.35pm.

The teenager was the rider of the motorcycle - his family have been informed.

The motorcycle was being ridden on the A15 in the direction of Lincoln.

The second vehicle involved was a Volvo HGV which was travelling towards Holdingham. The driver, a man in his 60s, wasn't seriously injured.

Lincolnshire Police have said:

"We are appealing for witnesses and would like to hear from anyone who has dashcam of either vehicle or anyone who saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision. We would also like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage.
