Children across Lincolnshire and Newark are being disrupted again this morning as teacher strikes continue.

Members of the National Education Union will take to picket lines, and will also be lobbying MPs in another attempt to get a deal.

They're hoping for better pay and conditions.

The Department for Education said they "made a fair and reasonable pay offer to teachers recognising their hard work and commitment."

Ken Rustidge is the Lincolnshire Secretary for the NEU.

Government says they've made a fair and reasonable offer

We spoke to him about the latest strike action.

He told us there's only one way to end the strikes: "It's the Government root and branch - it's Gillian Keegan."

"They made an offer but the offer was not very good at all."

"I've got a ten year old - I want him to do his best but I also want the best for future generations and I think we can move this forward and all work together and roll our sleeves".

"What this is about is funding for education."

It's up to MPs to listen and hopefully we can go forward

"One of the things that is planned is to lobby MPs."

"It's the members of Parliament, the people who purport to represent the people, it's up to them to listen and to talk and hopefully they will do so and go forward."

"Please let's have a dialogue, let's have talk on both sides".
