A special event at the Lincolnshire showground has been setting out how the latest technology can help the agricultural sector.

The agri tech futures event is focusing on the fresh produce and flowers sector.

There's an exhibition working displays and a conference. It's also looking at things like farm robotics and data driven tech.

Dr Sarah Jane Grattam is one of the organisers she says:

"This is a great platform to showcase what we can do in terms of innovation. We've also got our Dutch friends here showing what they're doing in the Netherlands which is incredible. There's that barrier of how do I adopt this, how do I embrace this technology - but once we've overcome that- the sky's the limit"

"It's been popular - from 9am this morning people have been flooding in. People want to know more about agri-tech. They want to understand how innovation can help find a solution to what we're currently facing in the industry - so I think it's really important that we're doing this"
