A Sleaford man's denied 2 charges of arson following a fire at Lincoln County Hospital A & E which led to the temporary closure of the unit.

The department had to be evacuated last month with ambulances diverted to other hospitals.

No one was hurt but it allegedly caused damage of around £180,000.

Today at Lincoln Crown Court 56 year old John Gillion Watson of Vicarage Court pleaded not guilty to the charges.

He'll now go on trial in September.
