Man dies after Skegness assault

A man involved in an alleged assault last week in Skegness has now died. He'd been in the hospital since the incident on Friday (3rd July).

He's been named as 56-year-old Sean Howson.

His next of kin have been informed.

Officers say they were called to reports of a serious assault at a property in Albany Road.

Lincolnshire Police are now treating it as a homicide investigation.

A 19-year-old man charged with GBH in connection with the incident remains in custody after appearing at Lincoln Magistrates' Court today (7th July).
