Lincolnshire Police are appealing for eyewitnesses and information following a sexual assault in Lincoln.

A woman was walking along St. Catherine’s at around 1am on Saturday 27th July when she witnessed an altercation between another man and a woman.

The woman has then been approached by the man and the incident happened by the former St Katherine’s Church building at the junction of Colgrave Street and St. Catherine's.

Police believe there were a number of people in the area at the time of the incident who may be able to provide valuable information to assist with their inquiries.

They would also like to hear from anyone who may have been driving in the area at this time and captured dashcam or anyone who may have RING doorbell footage between midnight and 2am today (27 July) in the St Catherine's and Colgrave Street area.

If you have any information to share, please email DC Lucy Morris on lucy.morris@lincs.police.uk quoting incident 59 of 27 July in the subject line.
