Seven people arrested in connection with violent disorder in Gainsborough released on bail
Officers were called to Drake Street and Strafford Street on Wednesday the 28th of August
Seven people have been released on bail as Police continue to investigate an incident of violent disorder in Gainsborough,
Six people had been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder: three men, aged 23, 24, and 32, a 17-year-old boy; an 18-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl. A 43-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Lincolnshire Police, previously said officers were called to Drake Street in Gainsborough at 11.35pm on 28 August in response to an altercation.
Two men have been seriously injured and are receiving treatment in hospital.
There will be a significant police presence in Gainsborough as we investigate a number of potential scenes at Drake Street, Stafford Street and Washington Street.
Investigations continue into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
