Health bosses are in discussions about the possibility of Lincoln being moved up to tier 2 of coronavirus restrictions.

It comes as infections in the city have risen rapidly to above the national average.

59 new cases were confirmed in Lincoln yesterday.

There's the possibility other parts of Lincolnshire may also be affected although Lincoln currently has the most pressing need.
