Second man charged with attempted murder following reports of a stabbing in Cleethorpes
Police were called out to Grant Street earlier this month
A second man has been charged with attempted murder following reports of a stabbing in Cleethorpes.
On Friday 21st July Police were called out to Grant Street to reports a group of men were fighting in the town.
They discovered a man with stab wounds and he is still in hospital with life threatening injuries.
28-year-old Daniel Champion of Rutland Street, in Grimsby has now been charged with attempted murder.
Four other people have been charged in connection with the incident.
Humberside Police said:
"We continue to appeal to anyone who may have any information and in particular, dashcam or mobile phone footage, that may assist with our enquiries to please call us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 506 of 21 July."
