Prince William due to visit Lincolnshire today
His Royal Highness will be at RAF Coningsby
Lincolnshire is due to receive a special visitor today (Friday, 18 November) as Prince William heads to RAF Coningsby.
Just a few months ago the Prince of Wales visited the county. But then it was Charles, who is now King, who held the title. He came to visit RAF Cranwell back in April.
Now, Prince William who's taken on the title the Prince of Wales and is also Honorary Air Commandant of RAF Coningsby will be taking a look at the future technology innovations at the base.
During the visit the Prince will spend some time in the Air Traffic Control Centre to hear about 'Project Marshall' which is an upgrade programme of air traffic control radar services across Lincolnshire.
It's thought His Royal Highness will be meeting and speaking to staff while there on his visit.
Prince William is also expected to open a new boxing centre at the RAF base.
