Police make ten arrests after disturbance in Grimsby
Reports of people riding motorcycles dangerously, carrying hammers and threatening members of the public
Two men and eight boys have been arrested following reports of antisocial behaviour, theft of a motor vehicle and criminal damage in Grimsby on Saturday.
Police were called to the Laceby Road area, following reports of people riding motorcycles dangerously, carrying hammers, threatening members of the public and causing distress.
Officers believe a moped was stolen during the incident and damage was caused to the windshield of a stationary police car.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: "Officers quickly attended and carried out extensive enquiries in the area, before arresting two men and eight boys nearby.
"All ten have been released on bail whilst enquiries continue."
