Man released after death of woman in Lincoln
Her body was found on Monday evening
A man, who was arrested after the 'unexplained' death of a woman in Lincoln, has been released under investigation.
The 59 year old man was arrested for obstructing a coroner in the execution of their duties.
The woman was found at a house on Claremont Street at around 7:20pm on Monday evening. She was in her 40s.
On Tuesday, Detective Inspector Andrew Wright-Lakin, from Lincolnshire Police, said: “We are saddened to confirm that we were called to an unexplained death of a woman, and are currently investigating the case."
"We believe this to be an isolated incident. We are keen to hear from anyone in the area who may have seen or heard anything between Saturday evening and Monday evening. "
"Any information, no matter how small, may be able to assist us with our investigation.”
