Police have launched a murder investigation after the death of a man in Skegness.

A 59-year-old man was found dead near Tesco in the town yesterday lunchtime.

He's been named as Charlie McGee Adair from Northamptonshire.

Three people have been arrested on suspicion of murder and one's been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They remain in custody.

Yesterday Officers said they were treating the death as suspicious- but have now launched a murder investigation.

Lincolnshire Police have said:

"We have arrested four people. Two men aged 35 and 32, and a woman aged 36, have been arrested on suspicion of murder. A 63-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. They remain in custody and will be questioned in due course.

"Investigations are ongoing and we remain in the area.

"We are appealing for anyone with any information, dashcam or CCTV footage between 12:00 hours 02/07 – 12:30 hours 03/07 to call us on 101, quoting incident 171 of 3 July."
