Police appeal after serious collision in Harpswell

Police are appealing for information after a two-vehicle collision on the A631 at Harpswell.

A spokesperson for the force said:

"Officers were called to the incident involving a tractor and a black Audi A4 on Harpswell Lane at around 1.50pm on Monday, 18 August.

"We expect the road to be closed for several hours whilst those involved in the collision are assessed, the vehicles are recovered, and the road is being cleaned.

"Investigators remain at the scene and are now trying to piece together what happened in the time before the collision took place and are appealing for information.

"If you saw either vehicle before the collision, have any dash cam footage or have any information that you think could help, please get in touch."
