Police appeal following Gainsborough gas explosion

Officers remained on the scene overnight

Police are appealing for witnesses following a suspected gas explosion at a property in Waterworks Street.

Officers were called to reports of an explosion at around 4.45pm yesterday afternoon. (15/10).

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were also in attendance, nobody was injured, and no neighbouring properties were affected.

Police have remained on scene overnight while enquiries are carried out.
