We speak to people who gathered in Lincoln to watch yesterday's funeral
There were screenings at both Lincoln Cathedral and the nearby Castle
Thousands of people in Lincolnshire and Newark have joined millions across the country for a poignant moment of history.
Many gathered in Lincoln where the Queen's funeral was shown on big screens at both the Cathedral and Castle.
Estimates suggest about 350 people were at the Cathedral, whilst more than a thousand saw it in the grounds of Lincoln Castle.
We spoke to some of them:
They told us: "It's such a big deal, I think it's important to come together with other people and to share the experience."
"Throughout my life she's always been Queen, it's quite important to say goodbye."
"Particularly the standing up when the National Anthem played that was really moving I thought and just being here was an absolute privilege."
"It was beautiful, the music was incredible, it was really touching, it really hit you in places you didn't think it would."
"Glad we were a part of it."
"Sharing the moment with others is quite spectacular, seeing everyone in the same position, feeling the same is quite emotional"
We also spoke to the Dean of Lincoln.
The Very Reverend Christine Wilson said: "Sometimes people don't know what to do with those emotions and feelings."
"Rituals and ceremony and opportunities to light a candle are all very helpful".
"Being with others and being able to talk and share stories."
"Mostly importantly when you come into a sacred building and do that in the presence of God that's important."
