Patient visiting at Boston Pilgrim hospital to be suspended
It's after an increasing number of covid-19 cases
Patient visiting at Boston's Pilgrim hospital will be suspended from Thursday for two weeks.
It comes after an increasing number of covid-19 cases among the community, staff and patients at the site.
There are a number of exceptions though:
- The maternity department will allow one birthing partner.
- Visitors will be allowed to see end of life patients.
- Parents who don't show symptoms can visit their children.
