Mother pleads guilty to charge after dog attack kills baby at Woodhall Spa

Both her and the baby's father were at Lincoln Crown Court this morning

The parents of a three month old baby girl who died after being attacked by a dog in Lincolnshire have today entered pleas to charges

The incident happened back in March

Kyra Leanne King died from head and neck injuries caused by the family’s dog Blizzard, at Ostlers plantation in Woodhall Spa

Her parents, Vincent King aged 54 and 41 year old Karen Alcock from Castledyke Bank, New York, near Lincoln are charged with being the owner or person in charge of a dog that was dangerously out of control causing injury resulting in death

Her mother Karen pleaded Guilty to the charge

Kyra’s father Vincent King, pleaded not guilty.

Both have now been bailed and the trial date for King is set for June next year.
