One man's in a life threatening condition and two others are in hospital after reports of a group fighting with weapons in Grimsby
Officers were called to the New Street area around 3 o clock yesterday morning and found 3 men who it's believed had been injured after being assaulted with a weapon.
They arrested a 27 year old man, a 20 year old man and a 22 year man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm after locating them nearby.
All three men remain in police custody at this time.
Police said:
One of the men was taken to hospital to receive medical treatment for serious injuries which are thought to be life threatening at this time, and two other men were also taken to hospital for treatment to injuries.
A scene guard remains in place to allow officers to continue with lines of enquiry to establish the circumstances around the incident and identify all those involved.
