New figures show on average 5 Lincolnshire police officers were attacked every week.
Since October they've been 154 incidents.
They include, cars rammed, threats with knives and injuries as severe as broken bones.
We spoke to Assistant Chief Constable Jason Harwin about the figures.
He describes them as "unacceptable" and says during his time in the force he'd been threatened with knives and baseball bats.
He hasn't been forced to take time off work because of it but some officers do have to.
In some cases officers have been cut out of cars after being rammed.
