With rising energy bills, coming out of a pandemic and concerns about the war in Ukraine a North Lincolnshire charity has warned we’re in a ‘Perfect storm for poor mental health’.
The branch of MIND has said they’re seeing more people needing support.
Claire Chapman is the Chief executive there and is urging anybody who is struggling with their mental health, to get support.
"Don't be frightened to ask for help, there are organisations out there from the NHS to small local charities and organisations that are there to help you".
"Don't feel you're going to be judged, we all need help sometimes".
"Get in touch with your GP or a local charity."
"There's a lot of uncertainty because people aren't quite sure how much the bills are going to be".
"They're not sure how they're going to manage."
"There's a lot of financial pressures right now, we all know our food shopping seems to go up each week".
"People know national insurance contributions are going to be rising so there's uncertainty about how people are going to manage their money".
"Everybody needs help at some times"
"Because of the current difficulties it is taking its toll of people".
"Don't leave it - get in touch before things get worse".
