New "rising bollards" in Grimsby Town centre
It means some disruption on Victoria Street
Last updated 2nd Sep 2020
It's been 12 years, but now rising bollards have been re-introduced on Grimsby's Victoria Street - after rats chewed through the wires of the old system.
Between 10.30 in the morning and 4.30 in the afternoon there won't be any access - as part of plans to improve pedestrian safety by bringing in the bollards.
Councillor Ron Shepherd has said they're not afraid to hand out fines.
