Police have launched a murder investigation following the death of a man in Boston

They were called to reports of an assault on Witham Street on January 14th.

35-year-old Adrian Whiting who was taken to hospital has now died, with officers treating

his death as murder.

His family are being supported by specially-trained staff

A Home Office post-mortem will take place to determine the exact cause of death.

A 35-year-old man, Maksim Iliev, of Union Street, Boston, has previously been charged with grievous bodily harm wounding with intent in connection with this incident.

He has since been remanded.

Police say: "As part of our investigation, we are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch."
