Motorcyclist dies following collision near Spilsby

A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a car near Spilsby.

Emergency services were called to scene on the A16 at Partney yesterday evening but weren't able to save the 36 year old man.

Another man on the motorcycle was also injured but their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

It happened at around half past seven last night.

The man's family have been informed.

Police said:

We are appealing for witnesses who saw the collision, which involved a black BMW car and a blue Yamaha motorcycle or saw the vehicles before or after the incident.
