Police are investigating after reports a man threatened a person with what's believed to be a gun after entering a garden in North Lincolnshire before demanding car keys.

Officers were called out around half past eight on Wednesday night (4th October) to Star Carr Lane in Brigg to reports of an attempted robbery.

Police are asking anyone who saw anything to get in touch with them.

Detective Inspector Darren Gray leading the investigation said:

“Since the incident was reported to us, detectives have been conducting a number of lines of enquiry, including reviewing CCTV footage, conducting area searches and door to door enquiries.

“We take all reports of this nature incredibly seriously and I would urge anyone who has any information to please get in touch with us.

“We are particular interested in speaking with anyone who may have been in the area around this time or has any CCTV, dashcam or ring doorbell footage that may assist with our enquiries, to please contact us on our non-emergency number 101, quoting 23*141951.

“I would also encourage anyone who has any concerns to please speak to one of our officers who are in the area to provide reassurance.”
