Man charged after reports a man has been assaulted in Skegness

A man has been taken to hospital for treatment for multiple injuries

A man's been charged following an incident in Skegness where a man was left with multiple injuries.

It happened on Queens Road.

Police were called out on Wednesday evening (14th February) around 11.20pm to a report a man had made threats and assaulted another man in the Jack Snipe pub.

A man in his forties was taken to hospital with what has been described as serious injuries.

57-year-old Andrew Marvell of Elder Close in Skegness has been charged with wounding with intent and possession of a knife in a public place.

He appeared at Lincoln Magistrates' Court today (16th February) and has been remanded into custody to await a hearing at Lincoln Crown Court.

Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with them.
