Four people have been arrested after a man was allegedly sprayed in the face with an unknown substance in Grimsby.
Police say the victim was taken to hospital following an assault on Garden Street at around 5.30pm on Saturday night, but has since been released.
A 17 year old boy, two men aged 21 and 24, and an 18 year old woman were detained on suspicion of wounding with intent.
The 17 year old was also arrested on suspicion of using threatening behaviour to cause harassment.
All four remain in police custody.
Humberside Police said: "Following lines of enquiries conducted so far, we believe this to be an incident between people known to each other."
Anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist the investigation is being urged to contact Humberside Police.
An increased police presence is expected in the area.
