Man dies in house fire in Lincoln
Emergency services were called to Addison Drive on Wednesday (15 October)
Police in Lincoln have confirmed a man has died in a house fire in Lincoln.
Emergency services were called to Addison Drive at 1:50pm on Wednesday (15 October).
A man was rescued from inside the house.
He died a short while later in hospital.
His family have been made aware, and officers say their thoughts are with his friends and family at this difficult time.
Addison Drive was closed yesterday whilst emergency services worked to contain the fire and carry out inquiries.
The investigation is ongoing into the cause of the fire.
