Man dies following collision near Boston

28-year-old man killed in crash on road near Frithville

A 28-year-old man has died following a crash involving a grey BYD Seal near Boston.

The collision occurred on 7th December, just before 1pm, westbound towards Frithville between the junctions of Trader Bank and Staunt Road.

Emergency services attended the scene but, despite their efforts, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. He was the sole occupant of the car.

His family has been informed and is being supported by specially trained officers.

Hale Lane, at the B1183 junction, was temporarily closed while emergency teams dealt with the accident.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the collision.
